The Oglala Sioux Tribe CHOICES Program: Modifying an Existing Alcohol-Exposed Pregnancy Intervention for Use in an American Indian Community

Describes how an existing alcohol-exposed pregnancy prevention program, Project CHOICES, for non-pregnant women was modified and integrated within an American Indian community to prevent Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). Also, provides the steps necessary to develop a similar program at another tribal or rural site.
