Association of frailty in hospitalized and institutionalized elderly in the community-dwelling.

CONCLUSION: the confirmation of association between frailty and hospitalization and institutionalization reinforces the importance of the subject, and highlights frailty as an important tool for risk estimates for these adverse events.
