Conclusion Elevated serum ferritin levels might predict poorer survival in autoHSCT recipients. Micro-Abstract Transfusional iron overload (IO) is considered to be a significant problem hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) recipients. Patients with IO have poorer outcomes compared to those with normal iron stores.
