Reply to “Early Lung Computed Tomography Scan after Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation”

We thank Olchowy et  al. for giving us the opportunity to complete our data. The protocol of our center is to systematically perform a chest x-ray while the patient is in bed once per week during hospitalization after conditioning and transplantation. We reviewed the chest x-rays performed the same day or the day befo re the lung CT scan. We found that 38 of 68 (56%) patients underwent a chest x-ray, including 23 on the day before the CT scan and 15 on the same day. Of these patients, only 5 had both a normal chest x-ray and a normal CT scan.
