A qualitative study on nurses ’ reactions to inpatient suicide in general hospital

Conclusions The well-being of nurses who have experienced inpatients suicide is stressed. Effective interventions are crucial for them to better cope with the negative consequences of inpatient suicide. Relevance to clinical practice The study may help administrators fully understand the impact of inpatient suicides on nurses in general hospital. It was served as evidence and foundation to develop effective strategies and to offer individual support and continuing education. Then nurses will be facilitate suicide prevention skills, get soon recovery.
