Longtime UC Davis veterinary school executive named chief medical officer

Jane Sykes has been appointed as the chief veterinary medical officer of the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, the nation's top-ranked veterinary program. The university announced Sykes’ appointment Thursday. Her employment began June 1 for a five-year term.
