Reimbursing workers for health costs would be OK again under new bill (and other news from Washington today)

Small businesses would no longer face steep fines for reimbursing employees for their health care costs under legislation approved by a House committee Wednesday. These types of employer payment plans are group health plans that don’t comply with the Affordable Care Act’s market reforms, according to the IRS.
