In conclusion, atrophy and gallbladder full of stones are frequently misdiagnosed, and establishing a definitive preoperative diagnosis is difficult. Awareness of this congenital malformation may assist physicians in distinguishing cases with unclear manifestation and avoiding unnecessary surgical interventions.
