A New Fitness Trend (And It's Not a Good One)

It's been quite some time since I wanted to write an article like this. I wasn't sure how it would go over but I think it's time for me to share my thoughts. I'm going to share with you a new fitness trend that's becoming increasingly popular (and it's not a good one). In my personal experience, this trend is becoming more and more common, and it's not a good thing. Can you guess what I'm about say? The trend I want to highlight today is this: people are waiting until their doctor tells them they need a lifestyle change, before they even think about their health. Has this ever happened to you? I want to make this clear so there is no confusion. In the last 12 months, the number of people that have come to me for advice/tips after having a conversation with their doctor has increased. In my experience, people got to the doctor, realize that they need to start taking better care of themselves and then start looking to make changes. This is not necessarily all bad (because well hey, at least they are ready to make a change). The thing that scares me about all of this is that if you know you live an unhealthy lifestyle, why wait to go to a doctor when you can start making changes yourself?
