Superfical Siderosis and Dural Ectasia: A Case Report (P2.009)

Conclusions: This patient had evidence of extensive dural ectasia (a well-known complication of NF-1), which was in this case the most likely source of chronic bleeding into the CSF, resulting in superficial siderosis. This association has not been previously described, and should prompt clinicians to use gradient echo MRI to detect hemosiderin deposition in similar cases.Disclosure: Dr. O'Hare has nothing to disclose.
