Zika, Chik and Dengue: Re-Emerging Enemies and the Battle Against Them

Emory University School of Medicine. 03/15/2016This 55-minute presentation discusses the epidemiology of some of the emerging and re-emerging vector-borne diseases, including Zika, dengue, and chikungunya. Speakers describe how to identify the clinical manifestations of these diseases, how they might be distinguished, and the complications that may occur. They compare the limited knowledge of Zika natural history (including immunology and virology) to the more extensive knowledge base for chikungunya and dengue. (Video or Multimedia)
