News and Resources Expensive Journals Drive Academics To Break Copyright Law. NPR. 2/20/16. A respected colleague, Elaine Aligood, shares her thoughts in BMJ Insiders about working at the VA and responding to changing times. Behavioral Health Barometer 2015. This resource “presents data about key aspects of substance use and mental health care issues, including rates of serious mental illness, suicidal thoughts, substance use, underage drinking, and the percentages of those who seek treatment for these disorders.” The Child Well-Being Index Report, maintained by Duke University, gathers “numerous social indicators of the well-being of children and young people in the United States.” A synopsis of the data can be found in the article, “Kids in U.S. are finally recovering from Great Recession.”
