NexGen Knee CR Option Fem NexGen Knee CR Porous Fem NexGen Knee CR Precoat Fem NexGen Knee LPS Porous Fem NexGen Knee LPS Precoat Fem prosthesis, knee, patellofemorotibial, semi-constrained, cemented, polymer/metal/polymer various sizes This device is indicated for patients with severe knee pain and disability due to: Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, traumatic arthritis, polyarthritis. Collagen disorders, and/or avascular necrosis of the femoral condyle. Post-traumatic loss of joint configuration, particularly when there is patellofemoral erosion, dysfunction or prior patellectomy. Moderate valgus, varus, or flexion deformities. The salvage of previously failed surgical attempts or for a knee in which satisfactory stability in flexion cannot be obtained at the time of surgery. " CR and LPS porous coated femoral and tibial baseplate components may be used cemented or uncemented (biological fixation). The CR Hydroxyapatite/tricalcium phosphate [HA/TCP] coated femoral or tibial baseplate components may only be used uncemented. All other femoral, tibial baseplate and all-polyethylene patella components are indicated for cemented use only."

In conclusion, placebo therapies can be beneficial and ethically justifiable but it is not a sufficient reason to publish biased information. Importantly, placebo must be devoid of adverse effects, otherwise it is named pseudo-placebo. Therapeutic methods with unproven effects should be tested in high quality research shielded from the funding bias. Some issues discussed in this review are not entirely clear, and the arguments provided here can initiate a constructive discussion. PMID: 31424374 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

ConclusionHemiplegic spontaneous cervical EDH occurs very rarely. It is often misdiagnosed as ischemic stroke and is likely to be administered with thrombolytic agents, making the patient's symptoms worse. Early diagnosis and rapid management of cervical EDH increase the likelihood of complete recovery of the patient's symptoms. Therefore, if there are unilateral weakness and neck pain without cranial nerve dysfunction and there is no evidence of stroke in the brain imaging, spinal EDH should be considered.

In this study we demonstrate the use of clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)-based epigenome editing to alter cell response to inflammatory environments by repressing inflammatory cytokine cell receptors, specifically TNFR1 and IL1R1. This has applications for many inflammatory-driven diseases. It could be applied for arthritis or to therapeutic cells that are being delivered to inflammatory environments that need to be protected from inflammation." In chronic back pain, for example, slipped or herniated discs are a result of damaged tissue when inflammation causes cells to create ...
