National Academies Press. 01/13/2016This 82-page document is the report from one of four workshops held in 2015 to explore the potential for improving international management and response to infectious disease outbreaks. The presentations and discussions from the Pandemic Financing Workshop are summarized in this report. The workshop sought to illuminate the financing tools available to close the gap between an infectious disease outbreak and response, as well as ways to fund the systems that could prevent epidemics from occurring in the first place.
