The mission of DOE’s Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) is to develop and transform the country’s biomass resources into commercially-viable high performance biofuels, bioproducts, and biopower through targeted research, development, demonstration and deployment (RD&D) supported through public and private partnerships.
