Glioblastoma (GB) represents the most frequent primary malignancy of the brain in adults, accounting for more than half of all gliomas [1]. Survival times are still narrow and range between 1 and 3  years [2–6]. A young woman first diagnosed with von Hippel–Lindau disease (VHL) during pregnancy underwent an uncomplicated cesarean delivery despite having multiple classic VHL tumors, including a large cerebellopontine brain mass and vasoactive pheochromocytoma. Patients with VHL may have multiple tumors of the central nervous system and viscera that greatly impact anesthetic management. This case highlights the anesthetic considerations for a parturient with pheochromocytoma and elevated intracranial pressure, as well as the importance of a multidisciplinary team approach.

Conclusions: In this study, a risk signature with five pseudogenes was constructed and shown to accurately predict 1-, 3-, and 5-year survival for glioma patient. The risk signature may serve as a potential target against glioma.

Glioma is the most malignant brain tumors in the world, the function and molecular mechanism of microRNA-199a (miR-199a) in glioma is not fully understood.
