Lambert-Eaton syndrome also known as, 'Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome,' is a condition in which a person's immune system attacks their neuromuscular junctions, the areas where your nerves and muscles connect. Usually a person's nerve cells pass signals along to their muscles. The signals help to make your muscles move. Due to the fact that Lambert-Eaton syndrome affects the way a person's nerves and muscles communicate, moving muscles becomes difficult.
