Guinea: Guinea Scores High Despite Ebola Epidemic

[Malaria Consortium] For its first Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) campaign in history, Guinea scored exceptional coverage rates of 96%. In spite of the Ebola pandemic which ravaged the country in 2014 and 2015, the Government, the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) and its partners managed to administer over 200 000 children with SMC medication in the first round of mass drug distributions as part of the ACCESS-SMC project.
