Incidence of Stroke or Systemic Embolism in Paroxysmal Versus Sustained Atrial Fibrillation: The Fushimi Atrial Fibrillation Registry [Clinical Sciences]

Conclusions— In this large cohort of Japanese patients with AF, PAF was independently associated with lower incidence of stroke/systemic embolism than sustained AF.
