Acute kidney injury in a child: A case of Munchausen syndrome by proxy.
We describe the case of an unfortunate boy who had to undergo unnecessary hemodialysis for persistent hyperkalemia and azotemia before a final diagnosis of the falsification of investigations by the parents was made.
