Aquarium Gets Spooky With Underwater Jack-O'-Lanterns

BOSTON (AP) — The New England Aquarium is putting some fright into its sea life by adding underwater jack-o'-lanterns to celebrate Halloween. Aquarium divers on Friday placed carved pumpkins among the coral reefs of the 225,000-gallon giant ocean tank. The big question: Will the vegetable-loving, 560-pound Myrtle the Turtle decide to snack on the jack-o'-lanterns? Myrtle the green sea turtle has been at the aquarium since 1970 and is the star of the four-story central exhibit. She shares the tank with more than 1,000 other sea creatures. Some of them, including a moray eel, barracudas and sting rays, are known for looking scary all year-round.  Also on HuffPost: (function(){var src_url="https://spshared.5min.com/Scripts/PlayerSeed.js?playList=519198835&height=&width=100&sid=577&origin=SOLR&videoGroupID=155847&relatedNumOfResults=100&responsive=true&ratio=wide&align=center&relatedMode=2&relatedBottomHeight=60&companionPos=&hasCompanion=false&autoStart=false&colorPallet=%23FFEB00&videoControlDisplayColor=%23191919&shuffle=0&isAP=1&pgType=cmsPlugin&pgTypeId=addToPost-top&onVideoDataLoaded=track5min.DL&onTimeUpdate=track5min.TC&onVideoDataLoaded=HPTrack.Vid.DL&onTimeUpdate=HPTrack.Vid.TC";if (typeof(commercial_video) == "object") {src_url += "&siteSection="+commercial_video.site_and_category;if (commercial_video.package) {src_url += "&sponsorship="+commercial_video.package;}}var script = document.createElement("script");script.src = src_url;script.asy...
