Prognostic value of pretherapy platelet elevation in oropharyngeal cancer patients treated with chemoradiation
In conclusion, pretreatment platelet elevation is a promising predictor of prognosis, and further work should be done to elucidate the utility of antiplatelets in modifying risk in OPC patients.
