Prevention of Parastomal Hernia with a Preperitoneal Polypropelene Mesh
Conclusions The use of a prophylactic polypropylene mesh placed in a sublay position at the stoma site is a safe and feasible technique. It lowers the incidence of parastomal hernias with no increased morbidity.
