The correlation between admission blood glucose and intravenous rt‐PA‐induced arterial recanalization in acute ischemic stroke: a multi‐centre TCD study

ConclusionHyperglycemia is associated with low rate of complete recanalization and poor clinical outcome in intravenous recombinant tissue‐plasminogen activator‐treated patients. Further studies are needed to evaluate whether lowering hyperglycemia is beneficial in the management of acute stroke patients.
