South Africa: Miners and Inmates to Wait Up to Three Years for TB Meds

[DA] In a reply to DA parliamentary questions, the Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, revealed that there is a significant need for the Linezolid drug to help in the treatment of Multi-drug resistant Tuberculosis (MDR-TB) and that the roll out of the medication to mines and prisons will only take place within the next two to three years.
