Azithromycin is not associated with QT prolongation in hospitalized patients with community‐acquired pneumonia
ConclusionsAzithromycin treatment was not associated with QT prolongation in patients with severe CAP. Nonetheless, in a large majority of hospitalized CAP patients, QT prolongation and pathological QTc develop regardless of the antibiotic used, especially in patients with previous stroke or a higher pneumonia score.
