Existing NCHS data sets alone or in conjunction with other data sets may be used to develop and test new survey methodology, statistical analytical approaches or methods of displaying data. Individual stand-alone projects relevant to the collection, analysis, or display of data are acceptable under this announcement. The R03 mechanism is intended to support small research projects that can be carried out in a short period of time with limited resources.
