Effectiveness and safety of fezolinetant in alleviating vasomotor symptoms linked to Menopause.: A systematic review and Meta-Analysis

Menopause defined as the permanent cessation of ovarian function in women that occurs on average between the ages of 45 and 55  years is not a health condition [1]. It is a normal transition that most females naturally go through during their life and could be induced medically through chemotherapy interventions or surgically by bilateral oophorectomy [2,3]. The average age of menopause in the United States is between 51 and 52. Menopause occurs in approximately 5 % of women by the age of 45 while the majority will have completed their menstrual cycles by the time they reach age 60 [4].
