Factors influencing patient-reported quality of life in pretreatment orthognathic surgery patients.

CONCLUSIONS:   Females are more aware of their facial deformity and report a greater social detriment when compared to males. Patients with a higher orthognathic treatment need report greater functional disadvantage.
