We report a rare case of intralymphatic histiocytosis associated with rosacea and prominent periocular edema (Morbihan disease). The patient is a 56-year-old woman with a 12-year history of rosacea who suddenly developed edema of the right upper eyelid that persisted 6 months before she sought medical advice. Conclusion: These findings indirectly support a key role of the mite in rosacea and suggest that topical treatment with BB (+crotamiton), especially the higher dose, may be a useful alternative treatment for rosacea as well as for demodicosis. PMID: 32427504 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
CONCLUSION: An altered fecal microbial richness and composition were observed in rosacea patients. The distinct microbial composition might be related to sulfur metabolism, cobalamin and carbohydrate transport. PMID: 32446756 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
CONCLUSIONS: Most of the patients in this series of FFA were postmenopausal women. The prevalence of oral and genital lichen planus was higher than that observed in the general population. Patients with a linear pattern had less severe disease. Facial papules were more common in younger patients and both facial papules and rosacea were associated with a greater need for oral treatment.
