Increased expression of microRNA-196a predicts poor prognosis in human ovarian carcinoma.

CONCLUSIONS: In conclusion, miR-196a may play an important role in the progression of ovarian carcinoma, and could be used as an independent prognostic biomarker for patients with ovarian carcinoma.
