105. “There's Preconceived Notions about What I'm Experiencing”: Experiences of Racial and Gender Discrimination in Sexual Healthcare Settings Among Transgender and Nonbinary Young Adults of Color

Transgender and nonbinary Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC) face significant inequities in accessing sexual healthcare. The sexual healthcare experiences of BIPOC transgender and nonbinary young adults (YA), however, have received less attention and therefore remain poorly understood. Guided by intersectionality theory, this qualitative study explored how BIPOC transgender and nonbinary YA experience and resist racial and gender discrimination in sexual healthcare settings.
