Psychosocial cancer research – late career perspectives: the International Psycho‐Oncology Society 2014 Sutherland Award lecture

Abstract This paper consists of reflections in relation to how follow‐up is organized in the growing population of cancer survivors. It also includes focus on late effects in cancer patients. The paper also highlights research contributions in the area of depression in cancer patients and discusses these findings in relation to the daily clinical practice.
