Africa: WHO Leads Very High-Risk Joint Humanitarian Mission to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza

[WHO] Editors Note: The first African Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, an Ethiopian public health researcher and expert in immunology and infectious diseases, led the organization's response to Ebola and Covid and now, joining other African leaders, pleads for "collective efforts to bring an end to the hostilities and humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza."
