Raleigh's Merz gets FDA approval for Botox-competing treatment
A Raleigh-based competitor to Botox received approval to use the injection in hands – the first time the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has ever approved this kind of a treatment for the hands.
The FDA granted approval to Merz North America, the U.S. affiliate of Germany-based Merz Pharma Group, to market its product, Radiesse, for “augmentation to correct volume loss in the dorsum of the hands,” according to the approval.
