The Prevalence and Clinical Characteristics of Borderline Personality Disorder in South Korea Using National Health Insurance Service Customized Database

CONCLUSION: This study identified the prevalence of BPD on a national DB set in South Korea. Although the prevalence of BPD in South Korea was relatively low compared to other countries, there was a steady increase in the number of BPD patients over a decade, which may be possibly due to an increased awareness of mental health and campaigns among healthcare providers and users in the country.PMID:37634633 | DOI:10.3349/ymj.2023.0071
