State health departments funded for the Core VIPP State Fall Prevention Program supplement are currently implementing fall prevention activities and programs in their state. As part of this work, the states are implementing 3 community-based programs (Tai Chi Moving for Better Balance, Stepping On, and Otago)along with the clinically focused STEADI toolkit—a set of tools that facilitates older adult fall risk screening, assessment, treatment, and management in primary care settings. To support implementation of STEADI, state health departments have developed partnerships with large health systems.
