Daughters Of Working Mothers May Make More Money, Study Finds

BOSTON (CBS) — Here’s more evidence that women who work outside of the home should shed their guilt about spending time away from the kids. Researchers at Harvard Business School looked at 24 developed countries and found that women whose moms worked outside of the home more likely to have jobs themselves, are more likely to have supervisory roles in those jobs, and tend to earn more money than women whose mothers stayed at home full time. Men raised by working moms are more like to help with the household chores and spend more time caring for family members.
