Tularemia in Pregnant Woman, Serbia, 2018

Emerg Infect Dis. 2023 Apr;29(4):806-808. doi: 10.3201/eid2904.221318.ABSTRACTTularemia was diagnosed for a 33-year-old pregnant woman in Serbia after a swollen neck lymph node was detected at gestation week 18. Gentamicin was administered parenterally (120 mg/d for 7 d); the pregnancy continued with no complications and a healthy newborn was delivered. Treatment of tularemia optimizes maternal and infant outcomes.PMID:36958014 | DOI:10.3201/eid2904.221318
