NICE draft guidelines for AF

The NICE guidelines for AF are now in draft form and recommend systematic use of a thromboembolic risk and bleeding score (as per the BMJ cardiovascular team of the year 2013!) and also suggest that the novel oral anticoagulants be considered first line together with warfarin. The first seems sensible and timely but what about the second? sadian
