Small business health rate hikes may be milder than those for individuals

While most Oregon health insurers want to raise rates — in some cases, substantially — next year, their requests for rate hikes for small groups are generally much more modest. The requests for small groups are all over the map, but mostly clustered in the single digits. Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest wants to cut rates by 10.6 percent.
