Airway Lessons from the Austere Environment

The Critically Ill Airway course, run by The Alfred ICU and Monash University, is taking place this week. Among the lineup of elite instructors is Dr Brent May (@docbrent), who  has created a 12 minute video lecture on ‘Airway Lessons from the Austere Environment’.Brent is a trauma anaesthetist at The Alfred, a retrieval physician with Adult Retrieval Victoria, and is Chief Medical Officer for the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, Motorcycling Australia and Karting Australia. I asked Brent to speak on this topic because I believe that all airway practitioners can benefit from the lessons learned by those who are expert at airway management in the most difficult circumstances.Have a listen to what Brent has to say:CIA – Airway Lessons from the Austere Environment from Brent May on Vimeo.Check out all the FOAM video resources for the Critically Ill Airway course on INTENSIVE.
