Evidence for a role of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor in inflammatory responses to air pollution
Conclusion: The AhR does not play a role in PM2.5 induced DC maturation. Whilst there is a clear, PM2.5 source dependent, CD4 T-cell proliferative and Th17 response, it remains unclear whether PM associated PAHs contribute to these responses.
