Managing patients with respiratory diseases: burnout among HCP

Conclusion: Prevalence of BOS among HCP caring for patients with respiratory diseases is high. Correlation between BOS and psychological distress is significant and more accentuated among nurses. Work stressors are undoubtedly related to development of BOS and can lead to changing the workplace and occupation The priority of healthcare institution should be actions directed to recognition and reduction of job stressors.
