Gambia: Gambia Registers Significant Gains in Malaria Fight

[Daily Observer] The deputy permanent secretary at the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has disclosed that The Gambia has registered significant gains in malaria control and prevention. Deputising for the Health minister at the commemoration of World Malaria Day on Saturday at Soma in the Lower River Region, DPS Dawda Ceesay indicated that research has shown a general decline in malaria morbidity, and mortality incidence has dropped by 85.5%.
