Second percutaneous transluminal angioplasty versus surgical reconstruction for hemodialysis access failure within a short-time period

The purpose of this study was to compare patency and non-abandonment rates for second percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) and surgical reconstruction for the treatment of failing vascular access due to restenosis or re-occlusion in a short time after initial PTA.
