Fire disaster caused by LPG tanker explosion at Lice in Diyarbakır (Turkey): July 21, 2014

A disaster can be defined as a situation where the affected society cannot overcome its own resources [1]. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is a type of fuel commonly used for domestic, agricultural, and industrial purposes. This gas is colorless, odorless, and heavier than air, and it is obtained during distillation of crude oil in refineries or by distilling natural gas in oil fields and then liquefied under pressure. LPG is a fuel similar to propane, butane, and chloride, and it is stored and transported in tankers in liquid form under pressure.
