Breakthrough provides new hope for more effective treatments of HER2+ breast cancer

(Case Western Reserve University) Ahmad M. Khalil, Ph.D., and his team identified the parts of the body responsible for revving up one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer, HER2+. Their findings appear this month in Breast Cancer Research and Treatment about 38 genes and molecules that most likely trigger HER2+ cancer cells to spread.
