CT-321 Uncommon Viral Infections in Patients Treated With CAR-T Cell Therapy: Concurrent Adenovirus and BK Virus Infection in a Mantle Cell Lymphoma Patient Within 30 Days After Receiving Brexucabtagene Autoleucel
CONCLUSIONS: Immunosuppression in patients receiving CAR-T cell therapy is multifactorial. CRS and ICANS are common acute toxicities that frequently require treatment with immunosuppressive agents. Prolonged use of corticosteroids has been identified as a predictor of infection after CAR-T cell therapy. Clinical trials addressing appropriate infection prophylaxis and treatment in this population are needed.PMID:36164215 | DOI:10.1016/S2152-2650(22)01663-9
