Unfortunate on two counts. First - it implies NM is uniquely guilty in this regard, and it is not. Second (corollary to the first): By not including other areas of medical research, it implies that they are all without fault.  We know that these particular errors and actual fraud are present throughout the medical literature. There is nothing to suggest that Nuclear Medicine is an outlier in this regard. Actually the fact that the JNM put this in their journal would suggest a greater sensitivity to the issues than other journals,  and that they are going to be more alert to these problems, and more rigorous than other journals.
